Operations Lead
Shipa Dubai , UAE

As Operations Lead at Shipa Ecommerce, you will oversee the entire operational workflow — from data intake in the Parcel Management Module through to package delivery and client invoicing. You will play a crucial role in enhancing delivery performance, ensuring process compliance, optimizing logistics, and driving end-to-end operational efficiency. This role excludes handling of payments, receivables, and payables.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily e-commerce logistics operations across courier, hub, and last-mile delivery

  • Manage warehouse activities: package receiving, sorting, dispatch, and inventory flow

  • Optimize delivery routing for efficiency and timely service

  • Draft SOPs and collaborate with the Tech team on system enhancements and UX improvements

  • Ensure SLAs are met by coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors

  • Recruit, train, and manage operations staff including drivers and delivery associates

  • Track and improve operational KPIs using logistics software and data tools

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to address operational inefficiencies

  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and corporate standards

  • Produce regular operational reports and performance dashboards for senior leadership


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field

  • 5–7 years of experience in logistics or courier operations, ideally within e-commerce

  • Strong understanding of last-mile delivery, hub operations, and courier ecosystems

  • Proficient with route optimization and fleet management technologies

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and API/system integration workflows

  • Knowledge of local/regional logistics regulations
