Position: OHS Officer – UAE National
As an Occupational Health and Safety Officer at SGS, you’ll play a vital role in supporting UAE University (UAEU) in creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and healthy working environment. This full-time, on-site role is exclusively open to UAE Nationals.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver annual safety objectives in alignment with UAEU goals

Provide expert advice on health & safety to university departments

Support compliance with statutory OHS regulations

Conduct risk assessments and recommend effective control measures

Develop safety procedures and assist in policy creation

Carry out routine health & safety inspections

Act as the university’s liaison with local authorities, especially in line with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
-
UAE National (Emirati passport holder)
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Knowledge of UAE occupational safety regulations is a plus
