ADNOC Group is seeking an Officer, Shipping to join the Marine Operations Team (Das) in Abu Dhabi. This role involves overseeing vessel arrivals, departures, berthing, loading, and discharge operations to ensure smooth marine activities and reduce turnaround time. The position also requires the preparation of accurate commercial shipping documentation, close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, berthing/un-berthing, and product loading/discharge operations.

• Prepare detailed shipping instructions in line with client and marketing requirements.

• Ensure compliance with terminal safety regulations and oversee ship/shore communication.

• Calculate product quantities for export and verify accuracy with third-party inspectors.

• Prepare and process all commercial shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Monitor onshore crude pipeline reception and prepare daily jetty status reports.

• Liaise with vessel agents, port authorities, inspectors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education plus a 3-year Diploma (or equivalent) in shipping or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in shipping, oil movements, and oil accounting in the oil & gas industry.

• Proficiency in computer-based marine information systems.

• Strong knowledge of English (Arabic is an advantage).

• Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
