First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s largest bank and one of the world’s most trusted financial institutions, is seeking an Officer – Collections (Emiratized Role) to join its Dubai team. This role focuses on following up with delinquent accounts, negotiating repayment, and ensuring compliance with FAB’s policies and regulatory frameworks. Candidates will play a key role in maintaining the bank’s reputation while achieving collection targets.
Key Responsibilities:

Follow up on overdue accounts to meet monthly resolution targets.

Review account history, customer interactions, and any prior remedial/legal actions before initiating follow-ups.

Engage with customers professionally in compliance with CPR and FAB policies to understand reasons for delinquency.

Document all collection efforts and customer responses in the system for accurate tracking.

Identify high-risk accounts and escalate for accelerated action.

Evaluate viable repayment solutions and prevent escalation of overdue cases.

Ensure compliance with UAE laws, KYC, AML, and bank’s internal guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

1–2 years of experience in collections within UAE banking.

Strong knowledge of legal and remedial options for collections.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-
Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems; dialer experience preferred.

Basic banking knowledge with attention to compliance and risk awareness.
