Job Purpose:
Excelsior Group ME is hiring a Russian-speaking Nursery Manager to lead the operations of a well-established early childhood education center in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a qualified, experienced leader in early years education who is passionate about creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children. This is a leadership role that combines educational excellence with team management and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

🧒 Leadership & Staff Management:

• Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and high-quality learning environment.

• Lead, motivate, and manage the nursery team to maintain excellence in care and education.

• Conduct staff performance reviews, training, and professional development.

• Organize staff rotas and ensure compliance with adult-child ratios.

📚 Curriculum & Child Development:

• Implement a rich, stimulating curriculum in line with EYFS or applicable local framework.

• Monitor teaching quality and provide guidance for continuous improvement.

• Ensure personalized learning plans are developed based on observations and assessments.

• Foster supportive relationships with children to promote wellbeing and development.

🛡 Health, Safety & Safeguarding:

• Enforce safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

• Conduct routine health and safety checks and risk assessments.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

🤝 Parent Partnership & Communication:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers.

• Manage admissions, parent communications, and meetings.

• Organize parent engagement events and maintain transparent reporting of children’s progress.

🗂 Administration & Compliance:

• Maintain up-to-date records for children and staff.

• Oversee budgeting and nursery resource management.

• Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations and inspection standards.

Requirements:

• Language: Must be fluent in Russian (spoken & written).

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a senior or managerial nursery role.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• In-depth knowledge of child development and early years learning frameworks (EYFS/local equivalent).

• Certification in First Aid and Child Protection (preferred).

Salary:

AED 13,000 – 18,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
