Job Title: Motor Rewinder – Ship Repair & Marine Equipment

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Motor Rewinder with experience in ship repair and marine equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in winding AC/DC machines, dismantling and assembling motors and generators, and using testing instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Motor Rewinding & Repair:

• Dismantle, log existing data, and rewind AC/DC motors, generators, and transformers.

• Perform proper insulation techniques to ensure equipment durability.

• Reassemble electromechanical equipment after repair.

✔ Testing & Quality Control:

• Use testing/measuring instruments such as surge testers, Hipot, core-loss testers, and winding machines.

• Conduct voltage, resistance, and performance tests to ensure optimal functionality.

• Follow Company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) procedures.

✔ Technical Documentation & Reporting:

• Copy and draw connection diagrams and measure wire sizes accurately.

• Maintain logs and generate required paperwork related to completed jobs.

✔ Equipment & Workplace Maintenance:

• Ensure all tools and assigned equipment are maintained and accounted for.

• Operate repair and testing equipment efficiently and safely.

• Assist the Supervisor, Sr. Supervisor, and Manager in any additional assigned tasks.

Key Requirements:

🔹 Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in motor rewinding or 5+ years in the same field.
🔹 Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in AC/DC winding, insulation techniques, and testing instruments.
🔹 Industry Background: Marine/ship repair experience preferred.
🔹 Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
🔹 Education: Technical diploma or equivalent in electromechanical engineering.
