VaporVM is seeking an Infra Office 365 / Cloud Engineer to manage and support a hybrid infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring critical systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role requires experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, Azure Cloud, virtualization platforms, and enterprise storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers and Hyper-V Clusters.

  • Administer Azure Stack Hub to ensure seamless hybrid cloud operations.

  • Provision, manage, and decommission Azure services, including:

    • Entra ID

    • Azure Subscriptions

    • Virtual Networks

    • Storage Accounts

    • Virtual Machines (VMs)

    • Azure ARC

    • Azure Intune

• Storage Solutions:

  • Maintain and support enterprise storage solutions, such as IBM Storage Cluster, Pure Storage Cluster, and VxRail.

• Monitoring Infrastructure:

  • Use PRTG to monitor infrastructure health, including cluster updates, probe and server sensors, and adding/removing sensors.

  • Perform cluster updates and troubleshoot issues with PRTG sensors and probes.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, system administration, or cloud environments.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V virtualization.

  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Stack Hub, including services like Entra ID, Azure Subscriptions, Networking, Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure ARC, Intune, and Storage.

  • Familiarity with enterprise storage systems like IBM Storage, Pure Storage, and VxRail.

  • Experience with PRTG for infrastructure monitoring and management of sensors and probes.

• Functional Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Proactive in monitoring and issue resolution.

  • Ability to document processes and adhere to best practices.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within IT teams.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

• Certifications: Infrastructure monitoring, storage, or cloud services.

• Experience in hybrid enterprise environments is preferred.
