Role Overview
As a Financial Analyst at Wear That, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting, and serving as the key liaison between Wear That and Chalhoub Group. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support month-end closing, cash management, supplier payments, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Manage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, creative, technology, data, and merchandise teams to support accounting processes.

Monitor cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.

Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual audit preparations.

Support internal management reporting and financial analysis for decision-making.

Prepare tax returns, revenue projections, and budget monitoring reports.

Ensure proper documentation and approvals for financial transactions in line with company policies.

Process supplier payments timely and reconcile payment discrepancies.

Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation and controls.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an accounting focus.

4-5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and data analysis).

Experience with Zoho Books and Oracle preferred.
