ENGIE is a global leader in energy solutions and low-carbon innovation. Our Facility Management team in Dubai is seeking a qualified MEP Technician to support mission-critical operations in a data center environment.

Job Purpose

The MEP Technician is responsible for ensuring all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and related systems are functioning at peak efficiency. You will support preventive maintenance, emergency response, and daily operational checks, reporting directly to the MEP Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine building inspections and maintenance of MEP and ELV systems

• Ensure proper operation of BMS, electrical panels, HVAC units, fire/life safety systems

• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults

• Complete job cards via CAFM (FSI Mobile App)

• Maintain stock of essential spares and tools

• Respond promptly to emergency service requests

• Assist in after-hours activities or training as needed

• Submit condition reports and recommend necessary actions

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills across MEP disciplines

• Clear verbal and written communication

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow instructions

• Excellent customer service attitude

• Experience working independently and in teams

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate or Technical Diploma

• 3–15 years’ experience in facility maintenance, preferably in critical infrastructure
