Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled MEP QA/QC Inspector to ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and international quality standards. The role involves conducting inspections, coordinating with project stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Assurance

Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Ensure all installations follow approved Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

Monitor MEP activities including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Documentation & Compliance
-
Prepare and manage Inspection Requests (IR) for completed works
-
Review and process Material Inspection Requests (MIR) for delivered materials
-
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test reports, and quality logs
Testing & Commissioning

Witness and verify testing activities such as pressure testing, insulation resistance, and continuity testing

Support commissioning processes to ensure system functionality and compliance
Technical Review

Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation

Ensure all materials comply with approved specifications and certifications
Non-Conformance Management
-
Identify quality issues and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
-
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions
Coordination & Standards Compliance

Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and clients for inspections and approvals
-
Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, BS)

Participate in quality audits and site surveillance activities
Required Qualifications
-
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
-
5–10 years of experience in MEP QA/QC within construction or infrastructure projects
-
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods, and inspection processes
-
Experience handling IRs, MIRs, and QA/QC documentation
-
Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and BS codes
-
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
