We are looking for a skilled MEP Draughtsman to prepare accurate and coordinated shop drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems in construction and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality drafting, clash-free coordination, and compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings based on design drawings and project specifications
• Develop coordinated layouts to prevent clashes with architectural and structural elements
• Produce schematic diagrams, riser diagrams, and detailed sectional drawings
• Collaborate with MEP engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
• Update drawings based on design revisions and site requirements
• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations and international standards
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM tools for drafting and modeling
• Support project teams with technical drawing documentation and coordination

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP drafting within building construction or fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit/BIM experience is highly preferred
• Good understanding of construction processes and coordination requirements
• Strong attention to detail and technical drawing skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and authority requirements

Salary

AED 5,000 – 9,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
