SMEC is hiring a MEP BIM Manager to lead BIM implementation within its MEP engineering team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM workflows who can manage coordination across multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce BIM strategies, standards, and workflows across MEP projects

• Manage and mentor the BIM team to ensure high performance and technical excellence

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to align BIM deliverables

• Oversee creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of BIM models

• Conduct clash detection and resolve interdisciplinary coordination issues

• Engage with consultants and contractors to implement collaborative BIM workflows

• Provide training programs and workshops for in-house BIM development

• Ensure all BIM outputs meet project requirements and regulatory standards

• Stay current on BIM advancements and integrate best practices into projects

• Support sustainability initiatives through BIM-based design practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline

• Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM coordination tools

• Strong knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., IFC), workflows, and interdisciplinary collaboration

• Experience managing BIM processes on complex construction/MEP projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field

• BIM certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)

• Hands-on experience in the MEP sector implementing BIM
