Nathan & Nathan is seeking Simulation Assistants to join our client’s healthcare simulation center in Dubai. This 1-year renewable contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of simulation-based training tools and technical resources. The role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring adequate supplies, and supporting various training activities.
Job Description:
As a Simulation Assistant, you will provide essential support in setting up and managing simulation-based training for healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining clinical environments for training, ensuring the necessary supplies are stocked, and maintaining accurate records for all simulation activities. This position requires excellent organizational, technical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Simulation Training Support:

Set up and allocate resources for scenario-based and skills training activities, as well as OSCE exams

Reset and prepare rooms for training sessions and OSCEs
-
Ensure that training facilities are stocked with required clinical supplies

Simulation Resource Management:
-
Maintain inventory of necessary items and update asset records
-
Report and coordinate maintenance for simulation equipment, instruments, and facilities

Ensure confidentiality while recording and maintaining data for all simulation activities

Undertake additional duties as required

Maintain a professional and cooperative approach to work across departments

Requirements:
-
Educational Qualifications:
-
BSc or Diploma in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy (RT), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Biomedical, IT, or related fields

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare institution

Skills and Knowledge:

Proficiency in English and basic medical terminology

Basic IT knowledge and computer literacy

Affinity for technology, medical instruments, and simulators

Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills

Familiarity with clinical setups and manikins (preferred but not mandatory)
