Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, assembly, and servicing of manufacturing and automation equipment.

• Conduct inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and repairs on mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.

• Develop and implement machine safety and data concepts to enhance operational reliability.

• Design and optimize automation solutions using PLCs, robotics, drive systems, industrial imaging, and testing technologies.

• Program and commission PLCs, safety controllers, and HMI interfaces.

• Execute mechanical design, assembly, and wiring of machinery and production systems.

• Integrate robotic and automated components into existing production workflows.

• Carry out functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and continuous system optimization.

• Prepare technical documentation, operating manuals, and training materials.

• Support modernization and expansion projects within production facilities.

• Train employees on new automation technologies and processes.

• Contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives such as predictive maintenance, simulation, AMRs, and additive manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing maintenance.

• Familiarity with cam-controlled machines such as Bihler (preferred), Wafios, or Finzer.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD, PLC (SPS) systems, and HMI platforms.

• Strong technical troubleshooting and programming capabilities are an advantage.

• Quick learner with a proactive mindset and willingness to work in shifts.
