Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our Dubai-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring mechanical works on high-rise (tower) construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, contract specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.

This role requires strong site inspection experience, particularly within UAE high-rise developments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and conduct site inspections in a timely manner.

  • Review and verify mechanical shop drawings against contract documents, project specifications, and local authority requirements.

  • Inspect mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services systems.

  • Identify and report non-compliant works and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and stakeholders.

  • Monitor quality of installation and ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.

  • Maintain daily site records including inspection reports and photographic documentation.

  • Issue surveillance reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.

  • Ensure coordination between mechanical works and other disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical).

  • Provide technical support to resolve mechanical construction issues on site.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical inspection within the construction industry.

  • Proven experience working on high-rise/tower projects in Dubai or the UAE.

  • Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and international mechanical standards.

  • Ability to interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications accurately.

  • Good reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
