Penspen is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This core engineering role involves working on various projects related to oil and gas pipelines, including the design of pump stations, compressor stations, and other related facilities. The engineer will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, producing specifications, and creating engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engineering activities for oil and gas pipeline systems

• Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, and detailed design

• Provide procurement support, construction, testing, and commissioning

• Develop piping layouts, plot plans, general arrangements, and isometrics

• Produce specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and equipment designs

• Apply 2D and 3D CADD applications, including PDS or equivalent software

• Adhere to international codes, standards, and engineering practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) from a recognized university (Master’s degree is an advantage)

• 6-10 years of oil and gas design experience

• Strong knowledge of oil and gas pipelines, pump stations, metering, and regulating stations

• Experience in piping design, stress analysis, material selection, and equipment design

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CADD, including PDS or equivalent software

• Working knowledge of international engineering codes and standards
