Job Title: Maternal Newborn Unit Manager
Job Description:
This position assumes overall responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the Maternal Newborn Unit. The manager will direct, coordinate, and evaluate the activities within the designated areas to ensure the optimal delivery of patient care and maintain high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight: Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Maternal Newborn Unit, focusing on patient care and operational efficiency.

Staff Management: Coordinate and oversee the activities of medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure effective teamwork and delivery of care.

Patient Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to mothers and newborns, managing both routine and emergency situations with professionalism and skill.

Evaluation: Continuously assess and improve care delivery through regular evaluations, audits, and patient feedback.

Compliance & Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

Budgeting & Resource Management: Oversee the budget and resource allocation for the unit to ensure the best use of facilities, staff, and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education: A relevant degree in Nursing, Medicine, or Healthcare Management.

Experience: Proven experience in healthcare management, specifically in maternal and newborn care.
