Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives for our hotel. This role focuses on crafting and delivering compelling messages through various channels, with an emphasis on Food and Beverage promotions. The manager will work closely with multiple departments to align marketing efforts with sales and revenue goals, drive customer engagement, and increase brand awareness. Success in this role is determined by the ability to effectively contribute to the hotel’s sales and revenue strategy, while also enhancing online and social media engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Hotel Marketing and Advertising:

Develop and implement the annual marketing plan in collaboration with hotel leadership and the marketing team.

Drive incremental revenue by executing targeted promotions and campaigns with the F&B, operations, and sales teams.

Liaise with advertising agencies to design creative campaigns, focusing on food and beverage promotions.

Manage F&B media schedules and ensure timely settlement of accounts.

Work with Revenue Management to ensure proper targeting of advertisements and promotions.

Oversee email marketing and display advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

Social Media Content & Engagement:

Manage and engage with social media content across platforms (website, social media, and travel sites).

Create and execute F&B, weddings, spa, and conference promotions via digital and social channels.

Implement proactive reputation management on social media, addressing guest comments and concerns promptly.

Public Relations & Visual Asset Management:
-
Develop and execute quarterly PR plans, working with external agencies for media outreach.
-
Manage relationships with food critics, bloggers, and local media to enhance visibility.

Write and distribute press releases, manage hotel events, and execute promotional activities.

Coordinate photoshoots for F&B and seasonal promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.

Ensure that all photography aligns with the brand voice and marketing goals.

Direct Marketing & Collateral Development:

Coordinate the development and execution of printed marketing materials for the hotel and F&B services.

Ensure that collateral meets brand standards and complies with Brand Standard Audits (BSA).

Assist in producing signage and promotional materials in hotel public areas.

Monitor competitor marketing efforts and use insights to refine marketing strategies.

General Marketing & Communications Support:

Assist in the development of newsletters, joint F&B promotions, and other communication efforts.

Ensure that hotel websites and related digital platforms are consistently updated.

Partner with the Director of Marketing to align marketing strategies with the hotel’s revenue goals.

Provide training and marketing leadership to sales leaders, GMs, and revenue teams.

Track and report the success of marketing and eCommerce initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.

Qualifications:

Education:

A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality marketing, public relations, or digital advertising.

Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality or food and beverage sector is preferred.
