Al-Futtaim Automotive, a leading provider of industrial and automotive solutions, is seeking a skilled Marine Diesel Engine Technician to join its Power Products department. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai requires expertise in servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting marine diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively, applying technical precision and best practices to maintain the uptime of marine units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical service, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of marine diesel engines
• Guide team members in technical knowledge and best practices
• Conduct service checks and recommend additional work for optimal engine performance
• Maintain effective communication with foremen, service advisors, and managers
• Utilize tools and service manuals to ensure accuracy and prevent rework

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• 5-10 years of experience in marine diesel engine servicing and repair
• Technical education, apprenticeship, or Technician Diploma in Marine Engineering
• Proven ability to work independently in troubleshooting and overhauling engines
• UAE driving license (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage)
