Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Surveyor to join our Dubai team. This role involves conducting container, cargo, bunker, and marine incident surveys with precision and professionalism. The successful candidate will manage survey operations from notification to conclusion while maintaining strong business relationships and meeting financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct marine surveys including container, cargo, bunker, collisions, pollution, and marine incidents

• Attend surveys and maximize retention of outsourced survey work

• Prepare detailed survey reports compliant with P&I Club requirements

• Manage correspondence with Principals and P&I Club Members

• Maintain accurate timesheets and disbursement records

• Coordinate with third-party contractors efficiently

• Achieve monthly financial targets and follow up on outstanding accounts

• Promote GAC’s services through marketing and liaison with local ship owners and agents

Requirements:

• Master Marine certification with surveying experience

• Preferably hold a UAE driving license

• Strong knowledge of marine practices and technical expertise

• Established local contacts with agents in the maritime industry

• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of sub-Asian languages is a plus

• Proficient in MS Office and communication tools

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar marine surveying role

• 5 years surveying or P&I work experience

• At least 3 years sailing experience as a Captain
