KPMG Lower Gulf is seeking a Manager – Risk Management to lead and manage contract negotiations, legal advisory, strategic planning, and risk management processes. This role involves overseeing legal risk mitigation, developing contracting strategies, and managing a team of contract specialists. The Manager will collaborate with senior management to assess legal risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Additionally, they will cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, manage complex contracts, and lead dispute resolution processes.
Responsibilities include:

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements

Provide legal guidance on business operations, compliance, intellectual property, and data protection

Collaborate with senior management to develop contracting strategies and assess risks

Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with contracts

Supervise and mentor a team of legal professionals and contract specialists

Build relationships with clients, vendors, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities

Oversee dispute resolution processes and act as the key point of contact for contractual matters
Skills Required: -
Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited institution

Active membership in the bar association in a known jurisdiction

10+ years of experience in contract law, preferably in a corporate environment

Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex contracts

Strong understanding of international contract law and regulatory requirements
