✅ Job Objective:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Manager – Quantity Surveyor to manage all post-contract commercial and contractual operations for high-value construction and infrastructure projects. This position plays a strategic role in ensuring cost optimization, risk mitigation, and compliance with FIDIC and other contract frameworks, while protecting the organization’s financial interests across the entire project lifecycle.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Administer FIDIC and similar contracts across various retail and infrastructure projects

Prepare and manage interim payments, final accounts, and financial closure processes
-
Lead variation handling and change control procedures, ensuring contract compliance
-
Manage and assess EOT claims, cost prolongation, and subcontractor disputes
-
Draft and respond to contractual correspondence, notices, and legal communications
-
Oversee insurance guarantees, TOCs, performance certificates, and final settlements
-
Collaborate with planning, legal, and engineering teams to protect commercial interests
-
Provide strategic guidance on value engineering, procurement, and vendor negotiations
-
Maintain updated cash flow forecasts, budget reconciliations, CVRs, and reporting dashboards
-
Supervise contractor performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget

Support project close-out with full financial and legal compliance
✅ Candidate Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
-
Minimum of 10 years of post-contract experience, with expertise in retail or fit-out environments
-
Strong command over FIDIC contracts, procurement strategy, and financial tracking
-
Proven ability in handling variation claims, contract negotiations, and vendor management
-
Experience in cross-functional coordination with project delivery and legal teams
-
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
