Role Overview:
As Project Management Manager for Chalhoub Group’s Joint Ventures (JVs), you will lead the coordination and strategic delivery of shared services across JV operations. This cross-functional role acts as a bridge between JV leadership and central corporate teams, ensuring that all service and operational initiatives align with business priorities, transformation goals, and performance benchmarks.
You’ll manage a portfolio of cross-departmental projects, lead a high-performing team or matrixed contributors, and drive value through execution excellence, stakeholder alignment, and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment & Leadership

Translate Chalhoub Group’s strategic priorities into operational execution across JV entities.

Drive measurable impact through data-driven decision-making, ROI evaluation, and service-level KPIs.

Represent JVs in strategic forums and transformation steering committees.
Project & Program Management

Lead end-to-end execution of key projects across ERP rollouts, digital transformation, omnichannel enablement, and operational process upgrades.

Monitor project milestones, interdependencies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Ensure project governance, reporting, and issue resolution protocols are upheld.
Operational Excellence & Service Integration

Oversee performance of shared services such as Technology, Legal, Omnichannel, and Finance for JVs.

Lead resolution of escalated operational challenges with internal and external stakeholders.

Institutionalize best practices, SOPs, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and quality.
People & Team Leadership

Manage and mentor a high-impact team (direct and matrixed) supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and innovation.

Align resources effectively with clear KPIs and delivery outcomes.
Financial Planning & Performance Tracking

Own shared services budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Conduct business case analysis, financial modeling, and investment justification for JV-related initiatives.

Collaborate with Finance teams for strategic planning and cost optimization.
Requirements:

7–10 years of progressive experience in shared services, operations, or management consulting, including 2+ years in a leadership role.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar; MBA preferred.

Proven success managing large-scale, cross-functional transformation projects.

Familiarity with enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce) and digital tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI).

Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and team leadership skills.

Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in performance tracking and reporting.

Proficiency in English required; French or Italian is a plus.
