Philip Morris International is seeking a Manager Procurement Account to lead the local procurement function in the market, manage direct reports, and provide strategic guidance for optimizing product availability, quality, service levels, and price. This hybrid, contract-based role requires the individual to leverage business acumen to drive value creation for PMI, while influencing senior stakeholders and translating business needs into actionable procurement plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the local procurement team and act as a point of reference for the team.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align business strategies and drive decision-making.

Align local sourcing plans with regional plans and influence internal stakeholders to deploy global or regional initiatives locally.

Master complex negotiations, drive business needs, and build negotiation levers.

Provide market insights during the budgeting process, aligning with budget owners and Finance to protect margins.

Balance the usage of customized contractual frameworks vs. Purchase Orders to meet company objectives.
-
Encourage lean working practices and ensure effective deployment of global/regional procurement models.

Manage remote teams effectively and leverage procurement operations centers.

Ensure compliance with laws and company policies during business proposal reviews and project teams.
Required Skills and Experience:

A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

A diploma from a recognized Procurement Institute is an asset; MBA is a plus.

At least 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or commercial functions, with familiarity in market regulatory environments.

Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.

Business and financial acumen, with the ability to manage a matrix organization.
