Dibba Bay Oysters, a leading producer of premium oysters cultivated in the pristine waters of Fujairah, is hiring a Manager – People and Culture to champion a purpose-driven, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture. This role will oversee the full employee lifecycle with a strong focus on engagement, internal communication, workforce well-being, and embedding company values across all levels—especially among frontline and camp-based staff.
Responsibilities:
– Drive a values-based culture through aligned behaviors, programs, and communication.
– Lead employee experience initiatives for both blue- and white-collar teams, with emphasis on farm and camp-based staff.
– Design and implement engagement strategies including recognition programs, surveys, and wellness campaigns.
– Coach managers and supervisors on people leadership and team development.
– Act as a liaison between operations leadership and workforce to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution.
– Oversee onboarding, training, and cultural integration of new hires.
– Collaborate with QHSE and management to ensure ethical labor practices and UAE labor law compliance.
– Lead internal communication efforts to promote transparency and inclusion.
– Monitor and report on engagement KPIs.
– Maintain accurate and secure HR records and systems.
Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
– Experience: 5–8 years in the UAE with a strong background in employee engagement, internal communication, and cultural programs.
– Preferred: Experience in agriculture or aquaculture environments.
– Proven ability to work with both blue- and white-collar teams.
– Deep knowledge of UAE labor law and ethical labor standards.
– Language: Fluency in English.
– Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
– Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.
– UAE driving license required (frequent travel to Dibba-Fujairah).
