Masdar is seeking a Manager for their Internal Audit Quality Advisory team to lead and perform internal audit projects, focusing on technical, governance, and compliance areas. The role involves ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations while helping to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks. The candidate will also perform risk assessments and contribute to the development of the internal audit plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform internal audit projects as part of the internal audit plan.

• Provide assurance that internal controls achieve objectives and promote efficiency.

• Assess compliance with laws and regulations and reduce the risk of loss.

• Perform annual risk assessments and develop the internal audit plan.

• Collaborate across functions to ensure effective auditing and management of projects.

• Ensure adherence to internal auditing standards and ethics.

• Manage cross-functional teams and act as a consultant in corporate environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Certification as CIA, CPA, ACA, CFE, or CISA is preferred.

• Progressive experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation.

• Experience with internal audit of corporate and business unit processes.

• Big4 experience is an advantage.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge of internal auditing principles, accounting practices, and management principles.

• Familiarity with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

• Knowledge of industry policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
