Expo City Dubai is seeking an Interior Design Manager to oversee the design and implementation of various projects at Expo City. The role involves coordinating with design consultants and other parties to ensure design concepts align with business objectives, maintaining high standards across the Expo site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Design Development: Assist in creative processes and design concepts, ensuring alignment with business objectives for the overall project.

• Project Management: Help in creating project briefs, scopes of work, and documents for consultant contracts. Manage design teams and ensure the successful execution of design plans.

• Design Coordination: Collaborate with different teams, including infrastructure and security, to provide integrated design solutions across the site.

• Consultant Coordination: Lead meetings, manage design reviews, and ensure compliance with codes and standards across various projects.

• Quality Control: Provide advice on deficiencies in design submissions and ensure the highest quality materials are used.

• Site Inspections and Reporting: Participate in site inspections, attend meetings, and provide progress reports and updates on design performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in interior design

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Design Suite, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong creative design and presentation skills

  • Experience across all phases of architectural projects

  • Excellent project management and attention to detail

  • Strong interest in the built environment and design quality

  • Experience producing master plans, conceptual designs, and illustrative layouts

• Desirable:

  • Experience with Revit and Navisworks

  • Strong graphic presentation skills (PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign)
