Grant Thornton UAE is actively hiring a Manager – FRAS to join its growing professional services firm, which has over 750 team members across the UAE. As part of the Financial Reporting Advisory Services (FRAS) team under the Assurance service line, this role focuses on technical IFRS support, financial reporting excellence, and complex accounting advisory services. The position offers the opportunity to work with diverse industries and support high-impact financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support on complex IFRS matters to internal teams

• Prepare internal consultation guidance and updates on evolving accounting issues

• Develop and update learning resources, research material, and tools for accounting standards

• Lead thought leadership initiatives on emerging accounting trends

• Contribute to industry-specific content and projects with standard-setting bodies

• Play a key role in client engagements, relationship management, and business development

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic project oversight

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting advisory at a top international consulting firm

• Strong expertise in IFRS and other global accounting standards (GAAPs)

• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent)

• Proven track record in delivering technical guidance on complex IFRS transactions

• Excellent time management and ability to handle tight deadlines

• Strong organization, planning, and leadership skills

• Ability to build relationships with clients and manage diverse teams effectively

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to client sites as needed
