A leading organization is seeking an experienced Mall Manager to oversee the operations of a regional shopping mall in Ajman. The organization focuses on creating dynamic retail destinations that deliver exceptional experiences for shoppers, tenants, and stakeholders.
Role Overview:
The Mall Manager will lead the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the mall, driving sustainable revenue growth, tenant satisfaction, and customer engagement. The role requires hands-on management of leasing, marketing, facilities, compliance, and team development while collaborating closely with internal departments, tenants, contractors, and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation.

Prepare annual business plans, budgets, and performance tracking.
Leasing, Tenant Relations & Customer Experience:

Manage full leasing cycle, including tenant selection, lease negotiations, and renewals.

Foster long-term relationships with tenants and resolve grievances.

Curate optimal tenant mix and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for shoppers.

Analyze sales and footfall data to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Marketing, Branding & Community Engagement:

Develop marketing and promotional strategies to position the mall as a retail destination.

Oversee digital marketing, social media campaigns, and loyalty programs.

Collaborate with community organizations and authorities for events and initiatives.
Operations & Facilities Management:

Ensure smooth daily operations of facilities, security, cleaning, and maintenance.

Coordinate preventive maintenance, sustainability initiatives, and emergency preparedness.

Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards; oversee compliance audits.
Financial Management & Procurement:

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, rent collection, and financial reporting.

Manage procurement and vendor contracts to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Compliance, Risk & Governance:

Ensure mall activities comply with local and federal regulations.

Maintain accurate records and implement risk-management strategies.
Leadership & Team Development:

Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team, promoting accountability and collaboration.

Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff while encouraging innovation.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years of progressive retail property experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.

Strong strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and lease economics.

Experience in marketing, customer engagement, and digital platforms.

Excellent tenant, stakeholder, and community relationship management.

Knowledge of compliance, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Proficiency with property management and facility management software.
-
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
