Akamai Technologies is looking for a Major Account Executive to sell high-value, innovative solutions across its portfolio (Cyber Security and Compute) to new and existing customers within the MEA region. The role involves prospecting, account management, upselling, cross-selling, and fostering long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring customers receive maximum value from Akamai services.
Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and acquire new customers while upselling and cross-selling to existing ones.

Foster long-term relationships with clients, positioning Akamai’s solutions to meet their unique needs.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting.

Manage contract renewals and minimize lost revenue and churn.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful realization of customer value from Akamai services.
Required Skills / Knowledge:
-
Strong understanding of technology, cyber security, and cloud compute.

Proven sales experience in the MEA region with multi-vertical companies.

Expertise in selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, and internet-based solutions.

Experience in account management and long-term planning, with the ability to sell value at the C-level.

Strong written and verbal communication skills (Fluency in English and Arabic is a must).

Ability to manage internal and external communications remotely in a collaborative environment.
