About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the preventive and breakdown maintenance of all equipment and assets at Horizon Emirates Terminals. This role requires expertise in equipment management, technical inspections, spare parts inventory, and team leadership, ensuring optimal operational efficiency in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Equipment Management:

• Supervise and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) equipment.

• Ensure equipment reliability and availability by implementing best practices in terminal maintenance.

• Oversee installation, servicing, and upkeep of all terminal infrastructure and assets.

• Coordinate with the Technical Engineer and Maintenance Superintendent for project-related activities.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Implement maintenance procedures, work instructions, and checklists.

• Maintain and update critical equipment maintenance records and history logs.

• Ensure compliance with IMS, EHSSQ, and HTL safety guidelines and certification requirements.

Inventory & Resource Management:

• Monitor spare parts usage and maintain an updated inventory of maintenance supplies.

• Plan and procure critical and non-critical spare parts in coordination with the purchase team.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, and compliance rates.

Training & Team Leadership:

• Ensure maintenance staff are trained, equipped, and motivated for safe and efficient operations.

• Supervise emergency response training related to the terminal’s firefighting systems.

Risk & Safety Management:

• Conduct EHS audits, risk assessments, and safety reviews for maintenance operations.

• Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning of new facilities, ensuring safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Engineering Degree or Higher Diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Terminals, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Refinery sectors in a supervisory role.

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment servicing, and spare parts management.

• Proficiency in computerized maintenance systems and report generation.

• Understanding of IMS, EHSSQ, and international safety regulations.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to analyze maintenance data and provide strategic recommendations.
