Job Title: Maintenance Director

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Director to lead all mechanical, electrical, and structural maintenance operations for a premier yacht service provider based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in shipyard, dry dock, and refit operations, along with hands-on experience working with superyachts, mega yachts, or commercial vessels.

As a senior executive, you will be responsible for overseeing teams, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing all aspects of yacht maintenance to uphold the company’s luxury service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans across all critical systems (mechanical, electrical, structural)

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance teams, engineers, mechanics, and third-party contractors

• Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual maintenance budget including parts, services, and equipment expenditures

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with international maritime regulations and safety standards

• Conduct inspections, schedule refits, and ensure minimal downtime and high vessel readiness

• Report performance metrics and recommend improvements to maintenance protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Open to candidates from India, Egypt, or Lebanon

• Male, aged 50 or below

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant leadership experience

• Strong budgeting, cost control, and resource planning skills

• Proven background in dry dock, refit, and shipyard operations

• Experience with superyachts, mega yachts, or commercial vessels is a strong advantage

• Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
