Marriott International is hiring a Maintenance Cleaner for its prestigious Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with experience in landscaping, gardening, and outdoor maintenance. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the resort’s lush surroundings, ensuring a pristine and inviting environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate soil, mulch, water, rake, weed, edge, prune, and plant flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Operate and maintain hand tools and light machinery, including mowers, strimmers, and leaf blowers
• Adjust mower height and quality of cut, ensuring optimal lawn care
• Conduct oil level checks and report equipment malfunctions to engineering
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Store equipment securely and maintain cleanliness after use
• Maintain gardens by naturally fertilizing, trimming, and ensuring proper irrigation
• Prune trees and hedges for health, safety, and aesthetic appeal
• Keep pathways, ponds, steps, and walls clean and well-maintained
• Tidy and clean outdoor areas, including the main building, spa, and car parks
• Maintain tool sheds and storage areas in an organized manner
• Ensure all resort areas remain clean and visually appealing

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of related work experience
• 3 years of hotel engineering or landscaping experience
• Strong knowledge of plants and outdoor maintenance techniques
• Ability to follow schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
