International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), the UAE’s most dynamic and internationally focused Free Zone Community, is hiring a Maintenance Assistant/Helper to support its operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically capable, reliable, and enthusiastic about contributing to hands-on maintenance and construction-related tasks. The Maintenance Assistant will work alongside skilled technicians to facilitate installations, demolitions, and general maintenance, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Assist with unloading, organizing, and transporting construction and maintenance materials across different project sites.

• Tool & Equipment Preparation: Ensure all tools and equipment are arranged and ready for daily tasks.

• Site Cleanup: Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments by clearing debris and ensuring access paths are hazard-free.

• Support to Skilled Workers: Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other specialists with fit-out tasks, minor demolitions, installations, and repairs.

• Flexible Execution: Take on a range of tasks based on daily project needs, including support in HVAC, MEP, and general maintenance interventions.

• Task Execution: Carry out instructions effectively while adhering to quality and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding manual labor.

• Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance tools and worksite practices.

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow precise instructions.

• Proactive, dependable, and safety-focused attitude.

• Punctual and ready to adapt to varying tasks.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in construction, fit-out, or maintenance environments.

• Experience in demolition or installation support will be a plus.
