Job Title: M&A Corporate Finance Associate

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled M&A Corporate Finance Associate to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will handle the evaluation, structuring, and execution of strategic transactions within the energy sector, focusing on oil & gas, power generation, and renewable energy projects. You will leverage your expertise in project finance and structured financing instruments, including Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), to support both buy-side and sell-side mandates. The role will also involve greenfield project development and corporate growth initiatives across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of strategic M&A transactions across energy sectors such as oil & gas, power generation, and renewables.

  • Work with global stakeholders to ensure successful execution of buy-side and sell-side mandates.

  • Focus on project finance and ECA-backed deals to support energy infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on greenfield project development and corporate growth strategies.

  • Manage relationships with key investors, financial institutions, and other industry stakeholders.

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial models, feasibility studies, and due diligence processes.

  • Monitor industry trends, including developments in renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture technologies.

Required Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, ECA-backed deals, or corporate development, ideally within the energy and infrastructure sectors.

  • In-depth knowledge of oil & gas (upstream/midstream/LNG), power generation (CCGT, thermal), and renewables (solar, wind, battery storage).

  • Desirable experience in hydrogen, carbon capture, water/desalination, and infrastructure sectors (ports, pipelines, industrial zones).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • ACCA/CA/CPA, CFA, MBA, or relevant certification is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Estimated Remuneration: AED 50-55K pm circa

  • Benefits: Private medical insurance, annual flights, schooling for up to 3 children (if applicable), and performance-based bonus.
