Expeditors is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee logistics projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring smooth communication, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The role involves planning and executing large-scale projects, managing customer relationships, conducting risk management, and facilitating decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, project management, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Enhance customer relationships and identify areas for improvement in the overall customer experience.

Perform gap analysis, recommend operational improvements, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries and issues in daily operations.

Plan project scope, objectives, and resources while setting deadlines and monitoring progress.

Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring key milestones are communicated to stakeholders.

Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, using project management best practices.

Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project performance and ensure alignment with goals.

Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in project management to improve processes.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or large-scale warehouse operations.

3+ years of experience in operations or project management, with stakeholder management experience.
-
Knowledge of large-scale warehouse operations and relevant industry certifications (e.g., Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP) preferred.

Excellent customer service, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong critical thinking and risk management abilities.

Ability to develop, evaluate, and present recommendations for operational improvements.
