WORKSPACE, a leading office furniture designer and supplier in Dubai and the GCC, is seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to manage import/export documentation, inventory control, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth logistics processes and effective coordination with shipping companies.
Key Responsibilities:
🚢 Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Oversee import/export documentation and issuance of Certificates of Origin.

Coordinate with local shipping companies for land and sea freight logistics.

Monitor and manage inventory control and supply chain operations.
📄 Documentation & Compliance
-
Ensure all shipping and customs documents are accurate and up to date.

Maintain proper record-keeping and administrative documentation.

Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements in logistics operations.
📦 Operational Efficiency

Optimize logistics workflows for cost-effective and timely deliveries.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and distribution.

Resolve logistics-related issues and provide solutions for improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
✔ Experience: Proven expertise in logistics, shipping, and supply chain management.
✔ Skills:

Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping regulations.

Ability to coordinate with freight forwarders & logistics providers.

Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
✔ Preferred Background: Experience in furniture or manufacturing industries is an advantage.
✔ Location: Business Bay & Dubai Investment Park (DIP).
