Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Logistics and Shipping Manager to oversee and manage the inbound and outbound logistics operations. In this role, you will ensure the successful execution of logistics processes, optimize shipping strategies, and manage relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customs authorities.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all export and import operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Develop and manage external relationships with freight forwarders, express carriers, warehouses, and suppliers to streamline operations.

Oversee day-to-day logistics functions, including customs clearance and documentation, ensuring all processes are executed timely and accurately.

Provide leadership and support to department personnel to ensure efficient operations and productivity.

Analyze logistics processes to identify potential risks and recommend improvements to senior management, implementing systems and policies to optimize operations.

Prepare and manage logistics and shipping budgets, monitoring expenditure and implementing corrective measures as needed.

Coordinate cross-border shipments by land, sea, and air according to client specifications.

Manage and track customs documentation, following up on refund claims and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Research and implement strategies to reduce freight and transportation costs while maintaining service quality.

Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely delivery of goods.
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Logistics or Shipping Manager.

In-depth knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping regulations.

Previous experience working in JAFZA is required.

Strong communication skills in English.

Ability to handle logistics operations under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to manage a team and drive process improvements.
