Job Overview

AJ Al Asmawi Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage import and export operations. The role involves coordinating shipments, liaising with shipping lines and agents, handling documentation, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining compliance with UAE customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.

• Liaise with shipping lines for vessel bookings, Shipping Instructions (SI), BL confirmation, amendments, and Delivery Order (DO) follow-ups.

• Manage and update documentation using DP World platforms (Dubai Trade / CARGOES / Rosoom).

• Handle Bills of Entry (BOE), gate pass coordination, and compliance with customs procedures.

• Collaborate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters to ensure smooth logistics operations.

• Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.

• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including BL, invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin (COO), and manifests.

• Resolve shipment delays, demurrage, and documentation issues efficiently.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in import and export coordination.

• Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures and shipping operations.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with shipping platforms like DP World (Dubai Trade / CARGOES / Rosoom) is an advantage.

Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
