Emerson is looking to hire a skilled and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the timely and compliant delivery of customer consignments across the region. This full-time, on-site position in Dubai involves preparing shipping documents, coordinating with freight forwarders, maintaining accurate logistics records, and ensuring adherence to international trade and customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, solid knowledge of trade compliance, and familiarity with Oracle systems.

The Logistics Coordinator will be an integral part of the supply chain function, working closely with order administrators, packing teams, and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and compliant shipment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage JAFZA customs documentation and coordinate collections with freight forwarders.

• Identify shipping needs of customer orders using internal systems like Oracle.

• Coordinate with order administrators and sales teams for complete and accurate shipping instructions.

• Organize packing operations and update packing status in Oracle.

• Generate complete shipping document packs and ensure inclusion of certificates and instruction manuals.

• Manage and archive shipment photos and documentation per operational excellence standards.

• Support logistics requirements for other plants such as Jubail and ISV BU if needed.

• Maintain shipping records including Bills of Entry and backup documentation.

• Serve as a backup Trade Compliance Gatekeeper and ensure full compliance with Emerson’s trade rules.

• Follow EHS regulations and promote safe, compliant operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Logistics Management or related field).

• Experience: 2–4 years in logistics or freight forwarding.

• Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Jebel Ali customs procedures.

  • Familiarity with international trade compliance and Incoterms 2020.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and TRAX (preferred).

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
