Role Overview:
As a Senior Associate – S&OP for L’Occitane, you will lead the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring seamless alignment between demand forecasting, supply chain management, inventory optimization, and business goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, enhance customer satisfaction, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

S&OP Leadership:

  • Develop and manage the full Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle across sales, supply, inventory, and financial plans.

  • Organize and facilitate monthly S&OP meetings, ensuring data-driven, strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare critical business decks for Product Portfolio, Demand, and Supply Reviews.

Demand and Supply Management:

  • Improve forecast accuracy through data analysis, root cause investigation, and action planning.

  • Minimize stockouts and excess inventory by enhancing supply chain collaboration across commercial, marketing, and operations teams.

  • Analyze sales trends and develop strategies for new product launches and seasonal planning.

Inventory Optimization:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels across all sales channels including stores, warehouses, and e-commerce.

  • Drive replenishment efficiency in collaboration with logistics and warehouse teams.

  • Address slow-moving inventory and streamline stock management processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Align with sales, marketing, retail, finance, and supply chain teams to build consensus-driven demand plans.

  • Provide insights into market trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership decision-making.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.

  • Utilize analytics and forecasting tools like Power BI and Excel for continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain management, preferably in beauty, fashion, or FMCG sectors.

  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and forecasting tools.

  • Skilled in omnichannel retail operations (offline and online).

  • Analytical mindset with expertise in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
