Centro Hotels by Rotana is seeking a qualified and proactive Lifeguard to join their Recreation team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for candidates passionate about safety, guest service, and working in a dynamic hospitality environment. Your primary role is to maintain pool safety, cleanliness, and ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool area and caution swimmers about unsafe conditions

• Rescue swimmers in distress and administer first aid or emergency care

• Maintain cleanliness of the swimming pool and surrounding areas

• Test chlorine and pH levels in pool water and report findings

• Set up sun loungers, umbrellas, and ensure all equipment is in good condition

• Regularly check pool temperature and ensure adherence to safety standards

• Stay informed about hotel’s recreational facilities, timings, and promotions

• Provide courteous and responsive assistance to hotel guests and visitors

• Handle emergency situations calmly until medical services arrive

• Enforce pool rules and ensure safe behavior among swimmers

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications: Certified lifeguard with professional swimming skills

• Education: Diploma or university degree preferred

• Experience: Previous lifeguard experience, preferably in hospitality

• Skills:

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors and long hours

  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills

  • Good English communication

  • Ability to work under pressure and in multicultural environments
