Job Overview:
We are hiring a Legal Operations Manager to lead the operational efficiency, financial planning, and tech enablement of our legal department. This role involves managing legal workflows, optimizing vendor relationships, and driving cross-functional legal compliance in line with corporate governance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, a legal-tech mindset, and experience within the UAE or GCC regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily legal department operations, including workflow design, task allocation, and resource optimization

• Implement and manage legal tech tools such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and matter management platforms

• Develop, track, and report on departmental budgets, vendor spend, and operational KPIs

• Manage relationships with external legal counsel, negotiate fee arrangements, and monitor service performance

• Standardize internal legal processes, support legal risk mitigation, and facilitate governance across business units

• Generate and maintain legal dashboards, compliance reports, and internal audit documentation

• Lead training and knowledge management initiatives to upskill legal teams and improve process transparency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (JD or LLB preferred)

• Minimum 5+ years experience in legal operations, legal project management, or corporate compliance

• Proven experience with CLM tools, legal automation platforms, and governance frameworks

• Solid background in budgeting, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration

• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

• Familiarity with UAE or GCC legal and regulatory environments is a strong advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• JD/LLB or advanced degree in Law or Corporate Governance

• Experience leading legal ops in a multinational or high-growth company

• Background in legal audit coordination or M&A support is a plus
