CDHORIZON Middle East is looking for a qualified and experienced Legal Manager to join their team. This full-time, on-site position requires expertise in drafting contracts, reviewing legal documents, and providing legal support to various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local laws, contract risk assessments, and experience in the construction or heavy machinery sectors. The role involves working closely with project management teams, optimizing internal legal procedures, and providing legal advice on a range of matters, including business expansion into new jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with local laws.

• Prepare contractual and commercial risk assessments for RFPs and provide support during the pre-tendering stage.

• Advise on local contract laws, economic laws, and propose risk control scenarios to align with business targets.

• Review employment contracts and provide advice to the HR department.

• Participate in project management, offering practical solutions to avoid legal risks and promote business growth.

• Optimize internal company procedures, providing legal suggestions and assessing risks.

• Conduct legal research and offer opinions on the company’s operations in current and new jurisdictions.

• Identify areas for improvement in contracting processes, revise templates, or draft new ones.

• Provide general legal advice and recommend law firms when needed.

• Assist with legal matters in the UAE and Oman.

• Complete tasks assigned by the line manager and the overseas legal and compliance department.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Law.

• Proven experience as a lawyer.

• Experience with heavy machinery is preferable.

• Willingness to travel and provide on-site support.

• Valid driver’s license.
