We are recruiting a Legal Counsel for a global property consultancy with a strong and established footprint across the GCC. This is a commercially focused, in-house role supporting regional operations across the UAE and KSA, providing pragmatic legal advice while enabling business growth and managing risk.

The role will support stakeholders across commercial contracting, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and dispute matters, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual risk assessments for RFPs, bids, and pre-tender activities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including FIDIC-based contracts where applicable

• Support the development, review, and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance

• Advise on corporate governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks across the region

• Monitor and track regulatory and legal developments in the UAE and KSA, providing gap analysis and practical implementation guidance

• Act as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders including HR, Finance, Tax, Operations, and Commercial teams

• Support dispute management and resolution, including liaising with and managing external counsel when required

• Assist with entity management matters, including licensing, renewals, governance documentation, and corporate filings

• Drive contracting efficiency through development of templates, playbooks, and streamlined contracting processes

Requirements

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent); additional legal or commercial qualifications advantageous

• Commonwealth-qualified lawyer preferred (UK, Australia, New Zealand)

• Strong English drafting and negotiation skills; Arabic language skills are an advantage

• 2–3+ years of GCC-based legal experience

  • UAE experience essential

  • KSA exposure strongly preferred

• Proven commercial contracting experience (mandatory)

• Exposure to FIDIC contracts highly desirable

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Commercially minded, solutions-oriented, and confident working in an in-house setting

Salary & Benefits

• AED 45,000 – 55,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
