Nord Anglia Education is looking for a Learning Support Specialist to provide 1:1 and small group support to secondary students (Years 7-11) at their Dubai school. This role involves helping neurodiverse students, supporting core subjects like Math, English, and Science, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and students to create personalized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for secondary students.

• Support students in core subjects, including Math, English, and Science.

• Work with neurodiverse students, including planning and delivering tailored support.

• Develop and implement Personalized Educational Plans (PEPs).

• Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance student participation and progress.

• Assist in maintaining high academic standards for students.

• Support the Secondary Head of Inclusion and Personalised Learning Team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Experience supporting secondary-aged students (Years 7-11) in core subjects.

• Experience working with neurodiverse students.

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Secondary Teacher.

• Strong rapport with students and a passion for education.

• Experience with the UK National Curriculum (Secondary to GCSE/IGCSE level).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Relevant educational qualifications.

• Strong English skills, both spoken and written.
