This leadership role focuses on driving Lean transformation within GE Vernova’s Heavy Duty New Unit (HDNU) engineering operations. The Lean Leader will be responsible for implementing lean principles to streamline processes, improve performance, and support GE’s global decarbonization goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Lean strategy, execution, and cultural transformation across HDNU engineering

Partner with Engineering and Project teams to deploy Hoshin Kanri, action plans, KPIs, and lean reviews

Facilitate continuous improvement in proposal and project engineering teams

Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Gas Turbine, Steam Cycle, Controls, Generator, and Sourcing

Monitor and drive adoption of Lean principles across global teams

Serve as a coach, mentor, and accountability partner for Lean initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related)
-
Strong experience in lean methodology, preferably in engineering or industrial settings
-
Leadership experience in matrixed/global environments
Preferred:
-
Expertise in Lean tools and structured problem-solving (TOPS 8D, A3, PSR, Apollo, etc.)

Experience with energy, power generation, or related industries
-
Strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence and stakeholder management skills

Salary range: $127,900–$213,100 USD + 15% bonus
