Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Lead Technician specializing in Security Systems to join their dynamic team based in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this pivotal role involves supporting Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV systems through field commissioning, troubleshooting, onsite system verification, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). The Lead Technician will also supervise and guide subcontractors, ensuring projects meet technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of various CCTV systems including brands such as Avigilon, HIK, Pelco, and thermal camera and CCTV storage systems.

• Manage and program controllers and various platforms like Access Control Systems (CEM & C-CURE ACS), Visitor Management Systems, Speed Gates, Car Park Barriers, Road Blockers, Bollards, ANPR, and third-party software integrations.

• Conduct system operation training and develop comprehensive handover documentation to ensure seamless client transitions.

• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical guidance and solutions to team members and clients.

• Coordinate with clients’ IT teams to understand networking requirements and recommend best practices for ACS and CCTV deployment.

• Maintain high safety standards by adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Prepare incident and root cause analysis reports.

• Serve as a focal point between clients, sales, and manufacturers to deliver required technical solutions.

• Organize technical resources and collaborate with third-party service providers and vendors for efficient project execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent technical education.

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of CCTV and Access Control systems.

• Strong knowledge of intrusion detection systems, ANPR, PAVA systems, and security infrastructure components like Road Blockers, Bollards, Gate Barriers, and Fire Systems.

• Expertise in field cabling and installation best practices for ACS and CCTV.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and mentoring with strong leadership capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).

• Valid UAE Driving License.

• Ability to maintain professionalism, work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
