• The Lead Project Manager at DP World’s Drydocks World-Dubai will be responsible for defining project requirements, ensuring successful execution, and maintaining effective communication between clients and the project team. You will oversee project productivity, manage the procurement supply chain, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery of projects. The role requires a background in Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Architecture with at least 10 years of experience in shipyard or offshore fabrication yard environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project requirements and performance criteria for the team.

• Ensure contract obligations are met and communicated to all stakeholders.

• Identify, document, and track changes or variations in the project.

• Liaise with procurement to ensure all materials/equipment are available for project execution.

• Monitor project productivity and schedule, preparing contingency plans when necessary.

• Supervise and mentor project team members to enhance their capabilities.

• Identify and propose improvement actions based on lessons learned.

• Contribute to the development of department processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Architecture background with shipyard or offshore fabrication yard experience.

• Strong knowledge of shipbuilding and offshore construction processes.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.

• Ability to apply project management techniques effectively.

• 10 years of relevant experience in shipyard or offshore fabrication yard.
