Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) seeks a Lab Instructor to support the Faculty of Applied Media. The role involves maintaining studios, labs, and workshops, assisting students and faculty, and delivering instructional support for hands-on learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage Media/Design/Broadcasting/Communication labs, studios, and workshops.

• Set up equipment, tools, and learning environments for projects, experiments, and classes.

• Assist in the installation, demonstration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical equipment.

• Conduct up to 10 hours per week of instructional lab duties, helping familiarize students with tools and studio operations.

• Ensure that all facilities and equipment are safe, functional, and aligned with academic needs.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Experience in working with media, broadcasting, communication, or design technologies.

• Hands-on technical skills in studio/lab setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Strong organizational, instructional, and support skills.

• Ability to work closely with faculty and students in a dynamic, educational environment.

• Previous instructional or lab support experience is a plus.
